Seth Boggess graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a major in Film Scoring. Scoring his first film at eighteen he has gone on to score numerous short films including the Slamdance 2013 official selection Lollywood (Obrigado Productions), Tribeca and Chicago International 2013 official selection AB- (A Daniel Klein film), award-winning Left Alone (Dark Yard Films) and Yawn (Relentless Filmworks); feature films including Optimism (Cisco Films) and The Gadarene Swine (I & Y Productions); and incidental music for various projects including the Lenny Kravitz video Let Love Rule (Justice Mix).
His classical guitar piece In Between Dreams was published by the Italian music publisher Bérben and performed in concert by Sandro Di Stefano. Additional publicly performed classical concert works include String Quartet No.2 performed by the Esterhazy Quartet and Fifth House Ensemble, Dry at Sea for string orchestra performed by Kalistos Chamber Orchestra, Grounded Toccata for marimba and Duet for Violin and Piano performed at Berklee College of Music, and the song cycle William Blake's Experience performed by The Bluegrass Opera, R.A.R.E. and at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
His other film credits include writer/director of the short film Left Alone (Dark Yard Films) based on the Anton Chekhov short story Misery and production manager for the feature film Cartel War (Tumbleweed & Relentless Filmworks).
Seth's accolades include winning a Gold Medal for Excellence in Original Music for Left Alone at the Park City Film Music Festival and Best Short for Left Alone at the Beaufort International Film Festival. Additional awards for Left Alone include Audience Choice Award and 2nd Place in the Short Film Category at the Landlocked Film Festival, the Audience Choice Award at the Route 66 Film Festival, and Left Alone also garnered 2 awards for lead actor Paul Noble at the NYC PictureStart Film Festival (Special Jury Award and Best Actor 2nd Runner Up). Seth also received a Grant from the Cliff Dwellers Arts Foundation based in Chicago.
